Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Komkos (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Komkos Creator Uploader (the “Application”). The Application allows an authorized user to upload or publish content to the user’s TikTok account through TikTok’s official developer services.
1. Information the Application accesses
Depending on the permissions you approve through TikTok, the Application may access:
- Basic TikTok account information made available through TikTok’s authorization process.
- Authentication information, including access tokens and refresh tokens.
- Videos, images, captions, privacy selections, and other publishing information you choose to submit.
- Technical status information returned by TikTok, such as upload, processing, and publication results.
The Application does not request your TikTok password. Authentication is handled by TikTok through its official OAuth authorization process.
2. How information is used
We use accessed information only to:
- Authenticate your TikTok account.
- Upload or publish content that you explicitly select.
- Display upload, processing, and publication status.
- Maintain the Application’s security, reliability, and functionality.
- Comply with applicable law and TikTok’s developer requirements.
3. Storage and security
The Application is intended primarily for use by its owner on the owner’s own device. Authentication tokens, settings, and publication records may be stored locally on that device. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect stored information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Media may be transmitted directly to TikTok or temporarily placed at a secure, publicly retrievable URL when required by TikTok’s upload process. Temporary media should be removed after TikTok retrieves it or after the upload process is complete.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information is shared with TikTok only as necessary to provide the requested authentication and content-publishing functions. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Application.
5. Third-party services
The Application uses TikTok services and is subject to TikTok’s own terms, policies, and privacy practices. TikTok is an independent service provider, and this Privacy Policy does not govern TikTok’s handling of information.
6. Data retention
We retain authentication tokens and local publication records only for as long as needed to operate the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Media prepared for posting is retained according to the user’s local file-management choices. Temporary hosted copies are removed when no longer needed for the upload process.
7. Your choices and deletion requests
You may:
- Revoke the Application’s TikTok authorization through your TikTok account settings.
- Stop using the Application and delete its locally stored files and settings.
- Request deletion of information controlled by us by contacting hugedcc@gmail.com.
Revoking authorization prevents future access but may not remove content already published to TikTok. Published content can be managed through your TikTok account.
8. Children’s privacy
The Application is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone who is not legally permitted to use TikTok or authorize the relevant developer permissions in their jurisdiction.
9. International processing
TikTok and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies and applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Application, legal requirements, or TikTok’s developer services. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
